UP Government Signals Strict Action in Ayodhya Ram Temple Donation Theft Case

The Uttar Pradesh government has indicated that strict action will be taken in the alleged donation and offering theft case linked to the Ayodhya Ram Temple. Following a preliminary investigation by a Special Investigation Team (SIT), the state government has assured devotees that those responsible for any wrongdoing will face legal consequences, regardless of their position.

UP Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh stated that the investigation is being conducted with complete transparency and that "the truth will come out." He emphasized that the sanctity of the Ram Temple and the faith of millions of devotees would not be compromised.

According to the minister, anyone found guilty—including officials associated with the temple trust—will face strict action. He stressed that no individual involved in financial irregularities or misuse of temple donations would be spared.

The SIT, which spent nearly six days in Ayodhya, questioned more than 60 individuals during its initial probe and has already submitted a preliminary report to the state government. The investigation has now expanded to examine alleged irregularities in land transactions related to the temple.

Jaiveer Singh also revealed that both the Uttar Pradesh government and the Central government are considering significant changes to the temple's administrative system to improve transparency and accountability. He assured devotees that the ongoing investigation would uncover the facts and urged them not to lose faith.

The alleged donation theft case has drawn widespread political attention, with the government promising a thorough investigation and strong action against anyone found responsible.
