NHRC Internship Programme Highlights Student Engagement, Competition Winners Announced

Smt. Saidingpuii Chhakchhuak, Joint Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), presented the internship report, highlighting the programme’s focus on familiarising students with diverse dimensions of human rights. She noted that participants benefited from interactive sessions with eminent speakers, including the Chairperson, Members, Secretary General, and senior officials from NHRC and the Government of India, along with experts from civil society. She also announced the winners of competitions conducted during the internship, such as the book review competition, group research project presentation, and declamation contest, commending students for their engagement and performance.
