He was accorded a warm and traditional welcome at Paro International Airport by Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay and senior officials of the Royal Government of Bhutan.

In his message, Prime Minister Modi expressed gratitude for the gracious reception, saying the visit reflects the deep bonds of friendship and cooperation shared between India and Bhutan. “Our nations enjoy a time-tested partnership anchored in trust, goodwill, and mutual respect,” he noted.
