The Ministry of Education has announced that the fourth edition of the Kashi Tamil Sangamam (KTS) 4.0 will be held from 2 December 2025, celebrating the deep-rooted civilizational, cultural, and linguistic ties between Tamil Nadu and Kashi. The initiative is inspired by the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reflecting the essence of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
This year’s event is being jointly coordinated by IIT Madras and BHU Varanasi, with support from multiple ministries including Culture, Information & Broadcasting, Tourism, Textiles, Food Processing Industries, MSME, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, IRCTC, and the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Theme for 2025: “Learn Tamil – Tamil Karkalam”
KTS 4.0 will focus on promoting Tamil learning across India, strengthening cultural appreciation and linguistic heritage.
