Jaish Terrorist Behind Red Fort Car Blast Identified as Dr. Umar; Linked to Srinagar Explosion

Red Fort Blast

Security agencies have identified the suicide bomber responsible for Monday evening’s car explosion outside the Red Fort in New Delhi as Dr. Umar, a trained operative of Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed.
The attack claimed the lives of 13 civilians and left more than 20 injured, prompting a high-level security review across the Capital.

🔹 Link Established Between Delhi & Srinagar Blasts

Investigators have linked explosives recovered from Umar’s module to the devastating blast in Nowgam, Srinagar, on Tuesday.
The Srinagar explosion killed 9 civilians and injured 27 others, intensifying concerns of coordinated terror attacks.

Officials believe both attacks are part of a larger, synchronized plan orchestrated by Jaish’s India-focused terror network.

🔹 Joint Agency Operation Intensified

Security and intelligence agencies are now:

  • Tracing the module’s entire chain of command
  • Identifying sleeper cells
  • Tracking financial and communication links
  • Monitoring movement in Delhi & Kashmir

Security has been heightened across Red Fort, key Delhi markets, airports, and major government installations.

🔹 Larger Conspiracy Under Investigation

Officials say early evidence suggests:

  • High-grade explosives used in both attacks
  • Same type of detonators & triggering mechanism
  • Possible cross-border support
  • Multi-city coordinated target plan

The investigation is ongoing, with several suspects under surveillance.

Authorities have urged the public to stay alert and report any suspicious activity as the nationwide probe continues.
