Ministry of Panchayati Raj to Present AI Governance Tools at India AI Impact Expo 2026

New Delhi, 14 February 2026: The Ministry of Panchayati Raj will participate in the India AI Impact Expo 2026, scheduled from 16–20 February at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. At its interactive booth in Hall 5, the Ministry will demonstrate a range of Artificial Intelligence-driven solutions designed to strengthen grassroots governance, improve efficiency, and enhance transparency in public service delivery.

Among the key technologies on display is SabhaSaar, an AI-based system that records, transcribes, and generates structured summaries of Gram Sabha and official meetings. The Ministry will also showcase PRAMAN (Panchayati Raj Asset Monitoring and Notification), which uses image analytics to verify asset photographs by assessing quality, authenticity, and duplication. Another highlight is eGramSaathi, an AI-powered chatbot offering guidance and information to Panchayat officials and citizens on governance-related services.

Visitors can engage with immersive demonstrations, including a ‘Be the Sarpanch’ simulation illustrating AI-assisted decision documentation through interactive storytelling formats. Live platform walkthroughs will provide hands-on exposure to practical AI applications in local administration.

Through its participation, the Ministry aims to underline the role of AI in enabling effective governance, promote scalable digital innovations for Panchayats, and contribute to discussions on responsible AI adoption in public systems.
