IPL 2026 Points Table Update: SRH Storm Into Top 3 After Dominant Win Over MI

Sunrisers Hyderabad delivered a commanding six-wicket win over Mumbai Indians in Match 41 of IPL 2026, reshaping the points table and strengthening their playoff push.

Despite a sensational unbeaten 123 from Ryan Rickelton, Mumbai’s massive 243/5 wasn’t enough. SRH responded with an explosive chase led by Travis Head (76 off 30) and Abhishek Sharma (45 off 24), who set the tone with a 129-run opening stand. Heinrich Klaasen then sealed the chase with a blistering unbeaten 65.

With this win, SRH climb to third in the standings, joining Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Rajasthan Royals on 12 points, while Punjab Kings continue to lead the table.

In the race for the Orange Cap, Abhishek Sharma stays on top with 425 runs, closely followed by Klaasen and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Virat Kohli remains in contention among the top run-scorers.

On the bowling front, Eshan Malinga holds the Purple Cap with 15 wickets, narrowly ahead of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jofra Archer.

The result further deepens Mumbai Indians’ struggles, leaving them near the bottom of the table, while SRH’s strong batting form continues to make them one of the most dangerous sides this season.
