Sanjay Nishad Credits PM Modi for BJP’s Historic Victory in Bengal

Uttar Pradesh minister Sanjay Nishad on Saturday credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Bharatiya Janata Party’s historic victory in West Bengal, saying the BJP’s success reflected the growing support for Modi across the country and abroad.

Speaking on the political developments in Bengal, Nishad said the fishing community had extended strong support to PM Modi and the BJP. He claimed that the party’s victory marked the first time Bengal had truly become “free.”

Referring to the defeat of the Trinamool Congress government led by Mamata Banerjee, Nishad said the people of Bengal had gained freedom with the removal of the TMC from power. He also remarked that political leaders should reflect on their shortcomings after an electoral defeat.

The UP minister further expressed confidence about the BJP’s future in Uttar Pradesh, stating that just as the party came to power in Bengal, it would return to power once again in Uttar Pradesh as well.

His remarks come amid heightened political discussions following the Bengal election results and are likely to intensify the ongoing political debate between the BJP and opposition parties.
