Amit Shah Assures Extended Central Force Deployment in West Bengal

Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed an election rally in West Bengal, assuring voters that security arrangements in the state have been fully strengthened for the upcoming polls.

During his speech, Shah urged citizens to participate in the voting process without fear. He emphasized that voters should come out in large numbers on the polling day and exercise their democratic rights confidently.

“Brothers and sisters, cast your vote on the 29th without any fear. Complete security arrangements have been made,” he said while addressing the gathering.

The Home Minister further added that the presence of central forces would not be limited to just the election period. According to him, even after the elections conclude, central forces will continue to be deployed in the state for 60 days to maintain law and order.

Shah also expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s prospects in the state, stating that the extended deployment would help ensure a peaceful environment during and after the election process.

The announcement comes amid heightened political activity in West Bengal, where multiple parties are actively campaigning ahead of the polls.
