State health department announces transfer posting of doctors and medical officers to strengthen healthcare infrastructure.
The State Health Department has issued transfer orders for over 200 medical officers, specialists, and administrative staff across government hospitals and primary health centers.
The transfers aim to address shortage of medical professionals in rural areas and ensure equitable distribution of specialized doctors across all districts.
Senior medical officers with experience in specific specializations are being posted to district hospitals to improve quality of healthcare services in underserved regions.
Doctors must report to their new postings within 15 days. Medical equipment and patient records handover procedures must be followed as per department guidelines.
The department has also announced incentives for doctors willing to serve in remote areas, including additional allowances and preference in future transfers.
