UP Board Result 2026 to Be Declared Today at 4 PM
Over 50 lakh students await results; marksheets to be available online and on DigiLocker
The Uttar Pradesh Board (UP Board) Class 10 and 12 Results 2026 will be officially announced on Thursday at 4 PM. This year, a total of 50.93 lakh students appeared for the High School and Intermediate examinations, while around 2.87 lakh students, despite registering, did not take the exams.
Students will be able to check their results on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) at upmsp.edu.in, as well as on DigiLocker at results.digilocker.gov.in. Along with the results, digital marksheets and certificates will also be made available on DigiLocker.
The results will be declared at the board headquarters by UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh along with the Chairman and Director of Secondary Education Dr. Mahendra Dev. The state merit list of toppers will also be released simultaneously.
Out of the total candidates, approximately 26.02 lakh students appeared for High School (Class 10) exams, while 24.91 lakh students took the Intermediate (Class 12) exams. The examinations were conducted from February 18 to March 12, 2026, across 8,033 centers over 15 working days.
The evaluation process was completed between March 18 and April 4 at 254 centers, also within 15 working days. Notably, the board introduced a pilot project this year in districts like Prayagraj, Meerut, Bareilly, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur, where examiners uploaded marks both offline and online via a dedicated portal.
This initiative contributed to faster processing, allowing the results to be announced two days earlier than last year, despite the evaluation deadline being extended. In comparison, the 2025 results were declared on April 25.
Students are advised to keep their roll numbers ready to check their results promptly once released.
