Two Officials Killed at Biogas Plant in Badaun; Vendor Suspected After Blacklisting Dispute

New Delhi :Two senior officials of a biogas plant operated by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited were allegedly murdered after a vendor entered the facility in Badaun, triggering shock and concern among employees and local authorities.
According to preliminary reports, the victims were the plant manager and the project manager of the biogas plant. The incident reportedly occurred when a vendor entered the premises and attacked the two officials, leading to their deaths.
Initial information suggests that the suspected motive behind the attack was a dispute related to the vendor being blacklisted by the company. Authorities believe the decision may have triggered anger, ultimately resulting in the violent act.
Police teams reached the spot soon after the incident and began an investigation. The area was secured and officials started gathering evidence and recording statements from plant staff and other witnesses.
Local police said they are examining all possible angles, including the contractual dispute and the circumstances under which the accused was able to enter the plant premises. Efforts are also underway to locate and apprehend the suspect.
