Shameful spectacle at AI Summit: Politics of publicity over national progress exposes Congress mindset

BJP MP from Chandni Chowk Shri Praveen Khandelwal called Congress as a “ failure political party” because of the disgraceful conduct of the Indian Youth Congress at the AI Summit which is a stark reflection of a political culture that prefers chaos over constructive engagement. At a time when the nation was deliberating on Artificial Intelligence, innovation, and India’s technological future, they chose to stage a crude and attention-seeking “nanga pradarshan,” lowering the dignity of a serious national platform.

Shri Khandelwal said that such behaviour exposes the bankrupt mindset that has increasingly come to define sections of the Indian National Congress. Instead of offering ideas, policy alternatives, or reasoned criticism, they resort to theatrics and disruption. This pattern of conduct demonstrates not only political frustration but a complete disconnect from the aspirations of India’s youth.

He further said that repeated electoral rejections have evidently failed to instill introspection. Under the ineffective leadership of Rahul Gandhi, the Congress appears to have abandoned constructive opposition and common sense, choosing spectacle over substance.

India’s young generation seeks opportunity, innovation, and global leadership—not vulgar displays and manufactured controversy. The AI Summit was meant to project India’s technological strength; attempting to derail it for publicity is an insult to national progress- said Khandelwal

He also said that democracy demands responsible opposition. What the country witnessed was not dissent, but desperation. The people of India, especially the youth, expect maturity and vision—not noise and nuisance.
