Relief from Scorching Heat Likely in Uttar Pradesh as Western Disturbance Becomes Active

Residents of Uttar Pradesh may finally get some relief from the intense heatwave conditions, as a fresh western disturbance has become active, bringing changes in weather patterns across the state.

On Monday evening, several districts including Noida, Ghaziabad, and Agra witnessed strong winds and a noticeable shift in weather, signaling the incoming system.

According to the India Meteorological Department, rainfall is expected in parts of western Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, April 28. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging between 40–50 km/h have been predicted in several areas.

While western regions are likely to experience rain and cooler conditions, some districts may continue to face severe heat and hot winds. In eastern parts of the state, light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is expected at isolated locations.

The anticipated rainfall is also likely to bring down temperatures, offering much-needed relief to residents who have been enduring extreme heat over the past few days.

Authorities have advised people to remain cautious during thunderstorms, especially due to the risk of lightning strikes and strong winds.
