Rao Narbir Singh Calls for Massive Participation in CM Nayab Singh Saini’s March 22 Rally

New Delhi: Haryana’s Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh on Thursday urged party workers and residents to ensure the grand success of the rally scheduled to be held on March 22 in Kankraula, stating that the event will mark the beginning of a new chapter of development for the Badshahpur Assembly constituency.

Addressing a workers’ conference at the Community Centre in Sector-22B, the minister said the rally will bring several development benefits for the region. He informed that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will inaugurate a number of development works completed during the government’s third term and will also announce several new projects based on the demands of local residents.

Rao Narbir Singh called upon party workers to reach out to people in every village, ward, and colony of the constituency and invite them to attend the rally in large numbers. He said the event should become historic and reflect the strong public support for the state government’s development agenda. Highlighting the rapid transformation of Gurugram, the minister said the city is growing into a major metropolitan hub. However, he noted that rapid expansion also brings challenges related to civic infrastructure and urban management. He said the Haryana government is addressing these issues through planned and systematic measures.

The minister also appealed to residents to support the administration in making Gurugram a clean, beautiful, and well-organized city. He urged citizens to dispose of waste only at designated municipal locations, avoid the use of polythene, and adopt the habit of separating wet and dry waste. Excessive use of polythene, he said, disrupts sewer systems and poses a serious threat to the environment and future generations.

Speaking about employment opportunities, Rao Narbir Singh said the transparent and merit-based recruitment system introduced over the past 11 years has greatly benefited the youth of South Haryana. Earlier, he said, regional bias and recommendation-based systems often prevented deserving candidates from getting opportunities.

“Today, under the policy of ‘bina parchi, bina kharchi’, the recruitment process has become fully transparent, allowing thousands of youths to secure government jobs purely on the basis of merit,” he said. He added that the talented youth of South Haryana are now getting equal opportunities to prove their capabilities and contribute to the state’s development.

UPSC Achiever Honoured

During the conference, Rao Narbir Singh also felicitated Tejveer Yadav, who secured 476th rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. Congratulating him, the minister said the achievement is a matter of pride not only for his family but also for the entire region.

He added that Tejveer Yadav’s success reflects the power of hard work, dedication, and commitment to one’s goals, and that such achievements inspire other young aspirants to prepare for prestigious examinations like the civil services.
