Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to citizens to remain cautious during the ongoing heatwave, urging people to stay hydrated.
With temperatures rising across several parts of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called on people to take necessary precautions to stay safe during the intense summer heat. In a social media post, the Prime Minister highlighted the growing difficulties caused by soaring temperatures and stressed the importance of public awareness and safety.
PM Modi advised citizens to drink plenty of water, stay hydrated, and carry water while stepping outside their homes. He noted that rising heat levels are affecting daily life and increasing health-related concerns, making preventive measures essential.
Emphasising compassion during extreme weather, the Prime Minister also encouraged people to help others by offering drinking water to those in need. He appreciated individuals and shopkeepers who place water pitchers outside their homes and establishments, allowing passersby easy access to drinking water.
