PM Modi to Release 22nd PM-KISAN Installment Today; Farmers Can Check Beneficiary List Online

New Delhi, March 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi today from Guwahati. Under the scheme, eligible farmers will receive ₹2,000 directly in their bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

However, following the mandatory re-KYC verification process, millions of beneficiaries have reportedly been removed from the list due to incomplete or incorrect records.

Farmers can check beneficiary status online

Farmers can easily verify whether they will receive the 22nd installment payment by checking the updated beneficiary list on the official PM-KISAN portal. The process allows farmers to check their status and even view the complete beneficiary list of their village using a mobile phone, without visiting government offices.

Steps to check PM-KISAN beneficiary list

Visit the official website: pmkisan.gov.in Click on “Beneficiary List” on the homepage.

Select your state, district, and tehsil.

Choose your block and village from the dropdown menu. Click “Get Report” to view the beneficiary list.

If a farmer’s name appears on the list, the ₹2,000 installment will be credited directly to their bank account.

About the PM-KISAN scheme

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme provides financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually to eligible farmers in three installments.

The 21st installment, released on November 19, 2025 in Coimbatore, benefited over 90 million farmers, with more than ₹18,000 crore transferred.

Earlier, the 20th installment released in August 2025 covered nearly 98 million farmers, including 24 million women beneficiaries.

The scheme aims to help farmers purchase agricultural inputs, maintain crop health, and reduce dependence on informal credit sources.
