NTA Postpones CUET-UG 2026 Exam Scheduled for May 28 Amid Bakrid Holiday Revision

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the postponement of the CUET-UG 2026 examination that was scheduled to be held on May 28, 2026. The decision comes after the Central Government revised the holiday date for Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid), prompting changes in the examination calendar.

According to the NTA, candidates who were set to appear for the examination on May 28 will now have to wait for a fresh schedule. The agency clarified that a revised exam date will be announced shortly, ensuring students get adequate time to prepare and make necessary arrangements.

The move is aimed at avoiding clashes with the festival holiday and ensuring convenience for students, invigilators, and exam staff across the country. CUET-UG, one of India’s major entrance examinations for undergraduate admissions, witnesses participation from lakhs of aspirants every year.

Students are advised to regularly check the official NTA website for updates regarding the revised schedule and other examination-related notifications.
