India’s security agencies have successfully foiled a major terror plot in time, preventing a potentially dangerous attack in the national capital, Delhi. Two suspects arrested in Mumbai are accused of planning a high-risk attack using an unusual and alarming method—concealing explosives inside a toy car.

The operation was carried out jointly by the Delhi Police Special Cell and the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad. Acting on intelligence inputs, both agencies conducted raids in Mumbai, leading to the arrest of the two individuals. They have since been brought to Delhi for further interrogation.

The accused have been identified as Mossab Ahdam, also known as Kalam Kalyan, and Mohammad Hamad Kollara. Preliminary investigations suggest that both had been influenced by extremist ideologies for some time and had allegedly come into contact with terrorist organizations through social media platforms.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to uncover the full extent of the plot and any possible links or wider network involved.
