Thousands of श्रद्धालु (devotees), dressed in traditional attire, stood in waist-deep water, offering prayers with deep devotion and faith. The घाटs were beautifully decorated, and the atmosphere resonated with folk songs and chants dedicated to the Sun God (Surya Dev).
Usha Arghya, offered at sunrise, signifies gratitude towards nature and the life-giving energy of the sun. Devotees observed strict rituals, including fasting and maintaining purity, throughout the four-day festival. Families gathered together, reflecting strong cultural and spiritual unity.
Local authorities ensured tight security and proper arrangements at major ghats to manage the large crowds. Cleanliness drives and medical facilities were also put in place to support devotees during the celebrations.
Chhath Puja continues to stand as one of the most revered festivals in India, symbolizing faith, discipline, and harmony with nature.
