New Delhi: With the postgraduate admission process for the upcoming academic session at Jawaharlal Nehru University now underway, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad JNU unit has launched a dedicated assistance contact network to support aspiring students during the application process.

The university administration recently released official application forms for postgraduate admissions, through which thousands of students from across India are expected to apply to become part of JNU. Continuing its annual initiative to guide and assist students, the ABVP JNU unit has introduced a detailed “Assistance Contact Network” aimed at helping admission seekers with queries related to the process.

Many students, especially those from remote and rural areas, often face difficulties in understanding technical aspects of admissions, including form filling, cut-off requirements, counseling, and course selection. To address these challenges, ABVP has formed a dedicated helpline team consisting of experienced student volunteers assigned according to subjects and academic centers.

Key contact persons for assistance include Mayank Panchal, President of ABVP JNU, and Praveen Kumar Piyush, Minister of ABVP JNU, who will help coordinate support for admission-related concerns.

Speaking on the initiative, Mayank Panchal said that students from every corner of the country dream of studying at JNU, but many face unnecessary obstacles due to a lack of proper guidance during form filling and counseling. He stated that the assistance network aims to ensure that no deserving student loses an opportunity simply because of inadequate information.

Praveen Kumar Piyush added that ABVP is not just a student organization but a support system for every new student entering JNU. He said the team became fully active immediately after the release of registration forms and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to standing with students throughout the admission process.

The initiative is expected to provide easier access to information and guidance for students applying for postgraduate programs at JNU this academic year.
