Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has appointed 10 advisers, granting them the ranks of minister and state minister.
Five individuals have been given the status of minister. They are Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed, Nazrul Islam Khan, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed, Md Ismail Zabihullah, and Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir.
In addition, five more advisers have been appointed with the rank of state minister. They include Humayun Kabir, Shamsul Islam, Zahed Ur Rahman, Mahadi Amin, and Rehan Asif Asad.
The appointments formalize the new prime minister’s advisory team, with the selected individuals set to assist in governmental functions while holding ranks equivalent to ministers and state ministers.
