Raghav Chadha Moves Delhi High Court to Protect Personality Rights

New Delhi: Raghav Chadha has approached the Delhi High Court seeking protection of his personality rights against the misuse of his identity in digital content. The matter is scheduled to be heard today.

In his plea, Chadha has sought restrictions on the circulation of deepfake videos, manipulated visuals, artificial voice cloning, fabricated speeches, and other misleading content allegedly being shared across social media platforms. The petition highlights concerns over digitally altered material that could misrepresent public figures and spread misinformation.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader has reportedly requested the court to issue directions preventing unauthorized use of his image, likeness, voice, and identity in content created through artificial intelligence or digital manipulation.

The case comes amid growing concerns over the rise of deepfake technology and AI-generated misinformation, with public figures increasingly seeking legal safeguards against the misuse of their digital identity.
