Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah addressed large public meetings in Jamui, Peerpainti, and Bihpur, Bihar, on Friday.
Criticizing Lalu Prasad Yadav’s rule, Shri Shah said that during the era of Jungle Raj, factories in Bihar closed, business came to a standstill, and the state was pushed into poverty.

He stated that if the NDA government is re-elected, Bihar will witness holistic development. Prominent leaders including Shri Giriraj Singh, Shri Shalabh Mani Tripathi, Shri Shahnawaz Hussain, and several NDA candidates were present at the rallies.

Shri Amit Shah emphasized that every vote cast in favor of NDA represents a rejection of Jungle Raj. He added that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar has become Naxal-free and entered the path of progress.

The Home Minister also outlined several developmental initiatives:

  • Construction of new expressways, airports, and medical colleges.
  • Establishment of a defense corridor and ethanol factories in Bihar.
  • Plans to build a grand Sita Mata Temple at Punaura Dham at a cost of ₹850 crore.
  • Development of the Matsya Sampada Yojana to benefit fishermen with increased financial aid.
  • Construction of new sugar mills and IT parks across the state.
  • Employment generation for over 10 million youth through government and private initiatives.

He said the NDA will continue to work for the welfare of farmers, poor families, and youth.
In contrast, he accused Lalu Yadav and Rahul Gandhi of promoting corruption and jungle raj.

Shri Amit Shah concluded that the NDA government will make Bihar a fully developed state, and reiterated faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership.
