Tight Security Along Rajasthan Border, Night Movement Restricted in Sensitive Areas
Administration imposes strict curbs across Sri Ganganagar border belt, bans loudspeakers and firecrackers at night to avoid disruption in security operations
Security has been stepped up across Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar district and nearby border regions, with the administration enforcing strict restrictions near the international border.
According to the new orders, movement within a 3-kilometre radius of the border will remain prohibited from 7 PM to 6 AM. Authorities have also banned the use of loudspeakers, DJs, and firecrackers during nighttime hours to ensure security agencies can carry out surveillance and operations without interference.
Officials stated that the restrictions have been introduced as a precautionary measure to strengthen border security and maintain peace in sensitive areas. The curbs, however, will not apply to state and central government employees performing official duties.
The order covers not only Sri Ganganagar city but the entire international border belt connected to the district. Areas included under the restrictions are Anupgarh, Gharsana, Rawla, Raisinghnagar, Padampur, and Srikaranpur.
Residents living in border regions have been advised to cooperate with authorities and strictly follow the guidelines as security agencies continue close monitoring of the area.
