“Mom, My In-Laws Are Beating Me…” Daughter’s Last Call Ends in Tragedy, 3 Months After Love Marriage

A shocking and heartbreaking case has emerged from Greater Noida, where a 22-year-old woman died under suspicious circumstances just three months after her love marriage. The victim, Monica Nagar, allegedly made a desperate final call to her family, claiming that her husband and in-laws were assaulting her.

According to police, Monica lived with her mother in a rented house in the Dadri area of Greater Noida. A few months ago, she married Anuj Chauhan, a resident of Ghodi Bacheda village, through a court marriage. Reports suggest that both families had agreed to the marriage.

However, soon after the wedding, disputes reportedly began between the couple over money and property matters. Monica’s mother has accused her son-in-law and his family of harassing and murdering her daughter for property worth crores.

The matter came to light on May 7, when Monica allegedly called her cousin and later her mother, saying that her husband and in-laws were beating her. Worried after the call, her family rushed to her in-laws’ house. By the time they arrived, Monica was already dead under suspicious circumstances.

Family members claimed that Monica’s body was found in a burnt condition near the roadside, while the accused had fled from the spot. They further alleged that Anuj had trapped Monica in a relationship and later pressured her to transfer property in his name after marriage.

After receiving information about the incident, Dadri police reached the scene and began an investigation. A case has been registered based on the complaint filed by the victim’s family, and police teams have been formed to arrest the accused.

Police officials said the investigation is underway from all possible angles and assured that those responsible would be arrested soon. Meanwhile, Monica’s family has appealed to Yogi Adityanath for justice and demanded strict action against the accused.
