PM Modi Congratulates VD Satheesan on Taking Oath as Kerala Chief Minister

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated V. D. Satheesan after he took oath as the new Chief Minister of Kerala.

In a message shared on social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi extended his best wishes to Satheesan for his tenure and assured full cooperation from the Central Government to support the aspirations of the people of the state.

“Congratulations to Shri VD Satheesan Ji on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Kerala. My best wishes for his tenure. The Central Government assures all possible support for the newly formed Kerala Government in fulfilling the aspirations of the people,” Modi said in his post.

The Prime Minister also shared the congratulatory message in Malayalam, reaffirming the Centre’s commitment to working closely with the newly formed state government.

The development marks the beginning of a new political chapter in Kerala following the swearing-in ceremony of VD Satheesan as Chief Minister. Political observers believe the relationship between the Centre and the new Kerala administration will be closely watched in the coming months, particularly on matters related to governance, development, and federal cooperation.

Modi’s message signals the Centre’s willingness to extend administrative and developmental support to the state under the new leadership.
