New Delhi , April 18: A shocking and distressing incident of a stray dog attack has emerged from Gwalior, where a 70-year-old woman was severely injured after being attacked outside her home.

The incident took place in Chiksauli village of the Behat area, where the victim, identified as Shanti Prajapati, was sitting at her doorstep early in the morning, watching children play nearby. Suddenly, a stray dog approached and launched a brutal attack on her.

According to reports, the dog inflicted serious injuries within minutes, leaving the woman critically wounded. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment.

The incident has once again highlighted the growing menace of stray dogs in the region, with residents expressing concern over the lack of effective control measures to curb such attacks.
