Delhi: Bus Driver and Conductor Arrested in Alleged Gang Rape Case Inside Sleeper Bus
Police register FIR after medical examination of survivor; vehicle used in the crime has been seized.
A shocking incident of alleged gang rape inside a sleeper bus has surfaced in Delhi, leading to the arrest of the bus driver and conductor by Delhi Police.
According to police officials, the incident took place two days ago. The survivor, a married woman and mother of three children, approached the police and filed a complaint alleging that she was sexually assaulted inside the bus.
Following the complaint, police conducted the survivor’s medical examination and subsequently registered an FIR in the case. Acting swiftly, authorities arrested both the accused — the bus driver and the conductor — in connection with the crime.
Police have also seized the sleeper bus that was allegedly used during the incident as part of the ongoing investigation.
Officials said further investigation is underway to establish the sequence of events and gather additional evidence related to the case.
