Protests Supporting Sonam Wangchuk and NEET Issue Held in New York and San Jose

Demonstrations in support of social activist Sonam Wangchuk and over the ongoing NEET issue were held in New York City and San Jose in the United States on Monday evening.

Members of the advocacy group Hindus for Human Rights assembled at Union Square in New York City and near the Mahatma Gandhi statue in San Jose. Protesters carried placards expressing solidarity with Sonam Wangchuk and highlighting concerns over the NEET controversy.

The demonstrators also raised slogans against the Government of India and demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, holding him accountable over the handling of the NEET issue.
