No Price Hike Relief: Indian Oil Maintains Stability in Key Fuels
Petrol, diesel, LPG, ATF, and kerosene prices remain unchanged, offering continued relief to millions of consumers across India.
In a consumer-focused move, Indian Oil has confirmed that there will be no change in the prices of key fuels that directly impact the daily lives of citizens. This decision ensures price stability for the vast majority of consumers, particularly at a time when global energy markets remain volatile.
Retail prices of petrol and diesel, which account for nearly 90% of the country’s fuel consumption, will remain unchanged. This comes as a significant relief for households and businesses alike, helping to maintain transportation costs and overall inflation in check.
Additionally, there has been no revision in the price of domestic LPG cylinders (14.2 kg), benefiting approximately 33 crore consumers across the country. This move is expected to ease the financial burden on households that rely on LPG for daily cooking needs.
The aviation sector also continues to receive stability, as prices of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) for domestic scheduled airlines remain unchanged. This is likely to support airline operations and prevent fare hikes for passengers.
Further, the price of PDS kerosene, a crucial fuel for economically weaker sections, has also been kept steady, ensuring uninterrupted access to affordable energy.
Overall, Indian Oil’s decision reflects a clear intent to prioritize consumer welfare while maintaining price consistency in essential fuel categories.
