Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices Hiked Again; Domestic Gas Rates Remain Unchanged

Commercial LPG cylinder prices have increased once again, adding to the burden on businesses and commercial establishments across the country. The price of commercial LPG cylinders in Delhi has been raised by ₹42, taking the new rate to ₹3,113.50 per cylinder.

In Kolkata, the price hike is even steeper, with commercial LPG cylinder rates increased by ₹53.50. Additionally, the cost of 5-kilogram LPG cylinders has also gone up by ₹11. Following the revision, the new price of a 5 kg LPG cylinder now stands at ₹821.50.

However, there is some relief for household consumers, as the prices of domestic LPG cylinders have remained unchanged despite the latest increase in commercial gas rates.

The revised prices are expected to impact restaurants, hotels, and small businesses that heavily rely on commercial LPG for daily operations.
