Meta Launches Instagram Plus Subscription Plan in India at ₹299 Per Month

New Delhi: Meta has introduced a new paid subscription service called Instagram Plus in India, priced at ₹299 per month. The premium plan is designed to offer users access to several advanced and exclusive features aimed at enhancing their overall social media experience.

One of the standout features of the Instagram Plus subscription is the ability to view other users’ stories discreetly, allowing subscribers to watch stories without notifying the account owner. In addition, users will gain access to enhanced insights, extra customization options, and other premium tools.

The launch comes shortly after Meta introduced subscription-based services for its other popular platforms, including Facebook and WhatsApp, as the company expands its premium offerings.

Despite the rollout of the paid version, the standard Instagram experience will continue to remain free for users. However, those seeking additional features and advanced tools will need to pay the monthly subscription fee of ₹299.

Meta is yet to officially reveal the complete list of features included under the Instagram Plus plan.
