Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath delivered a sharp statement targeting Pakistan during a public event in Mianpur, calling it a “sinful nation” and suggesting that the country, which was responsible for India’s partition, may face further divisions in the future.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister also made a significant local announcement, declaring that Mianpur village will be renamed “Ravindra Nagar” in honour of Rabindranath Tagore. He said the move would give the village a renewed cultural identity and strengthen its connection to heritage.
During the event, Adityanath distributed land ownership certificates to displaced Hindu families who had migrated from Bangladesh, granting them legal rights over their land. He highlighted this as part of the government’s commitment to rehabilitation and development.
Alongside these announcements, the Chief Minister also took aim at the Congress party, reinforcing his political stance while emphasizing ongoing development initiatives in the region.
