Patna, Bihar: A tragic incident unfolded in Bihar’s Patna district on Sunday when three children drowned while bathing in the Ganga River under the jurisdiction of Shahpur police station. The heartbreaking accident claimed the lives of all three children, sending shockwaves through the local community and leaving their families devastated.
According to reports, a group of children from Hetanpur village had gone to the riverbank on Sunday morning to take a bath in the Ganga. While they were enjoying their time in the water, three of the children accidentally stepped into a deeper section of the river and began to drown.
The children accompanying them immediately raised an alarm and made desperate attempts to rescue their friends. However, the strong current of the river made the rescue efforts unsuccessful. Within moments, the three children were swept away by the powerful flow of the Ganga.
