NEET Leak Mystery Deepens as Accused Family’s Academic Record Comes Under Lens

The investigation into the alleged NEET paper leak case in Rajasthan has uncovered fresh details surrounding the Bival family, who are already under scrutiny in the scandal. Authorities have now found that not one, but two children from the family appeared for the NEET UG 2026 examination, intensifying concerns over possible misuse of the paper leak network.

Earlier, investigators had identified Rishi Bival, son of Dinesh Bival, as one of the candidates who appeared for the medical entrance exam. Now, Aman Bival, son of Mangilal Bival and younger brother of Vikas Bival, has also come under the scanner. According to sources, Aman had discontinued his education after completing Class 12 and had shifted to the property business. Despite no longer pursuing academics, he reportedly sat for the NEET exam, prompting suspicion among investigators.

The case has already led to the arrest of Mangilal Bival, Dinesh Bival, and Vikas Bival. Investigators suspect that the family may have benefited from a paper leak network to secure admissions and exam advantages.

Meanwhile, Vikas Bival, currently a first-year MBBS student at Sawai Madhopur Medical College, has reportedly shown poor academic performance. College officials stated that his attendance remained extremely low, with Vikas attending classes for only around ten days between January and April. Reports further suggest that he scored only 30 percent marks in his first-semester examinations, raising questions about the legitimacy of his admission.

During interrogation by the Special Operations Group (SOG), Vikas allegedly admitted to receiving the NEET 2025 question paper before the examination. Following this revelation, agencies are expanding the probe to uncover the full extent of the alleged paper leak network and identify other students or intermediaries involved.

The controversy has reignited debates over transparency and security in India’s medical entrance examination system, with fresh concerns emerging over the credibility of NEET.
