JEE Main 2026 Results Declared: 26 Candidates Score Perfect 100 Percentile, Over 110 Results Withheld
Rajasthan leads in top scorers as NTA enforces strict action against unfair practices
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results of JEE Main 2026, one of India’s most prestigious engineering entrance examinations. This year’s outcome has been both remarkable and controversial, highlighting extraordinary academic excellence alongside strict enforcement against malpractice.
A total of 26 candidates achieved a perfect 100 NTA percentile, marking an exceptional accomplishment in one of the country’s most competitive exams. Among the top performers are Shreyas Mishra from Delhi, Narendra Babu from Andhra Pradesh, and Shubham Kumar from Bihar, who have secured top ranks at the national level. Notably, Rajasthan emerged as the best-performing state, producing the highest number of top scorers.
However, the results also underscore the NTA’s firm stance on maintaining examination integrity. The agency has withheld the results of over 110 candidates due to the use of unfair means. These include cases involving fake documentation and suspicious activities during the examination process.
The NTA reiterated its commitment to a “zero tolerance” policy against cheating, emphasizing that any attempt to compromise the fairness of the examination will be dealt with strictly. The move is being seen as a strong step toward ensuring transparency and credibility in national-level competitive exams.
JEE Main continues to be a gateway for admission into premier engineering institutions across India, including the NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutes. With such high stakes, this year’s results reflect both the brilliance of dedicated students and the importance of ethical conduct in competitive environments.
