Ghaziabad DM Arrives at Collectorate on Bike to Promote Fuel Conservation
District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandad skips official vehicle to spread awareness about rising fuel prices and encourage fuel-saving measures.
In an effort to promote fuel conservation and raise awareness about rising petrol and diesel prices, Ghaziabad District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandad arrived at the Collectorate on a motorcycle on Friday instead of using his official government vehicle.
The initiative was undertaken to encourage the public to adopt fuel-saving habits and make greater use of two-wheelers for daily commuting. According to officials, the move was inspired by the appeal made by Narendra Modi to reduce fuel consumption and promote responsible energy usage.
By choosing to travel on a bike, the District Magistrate sought to send a message about the importance of conserving fuel amid increasing fuel prices and rising economic concerns linked to transportation costs.
Officials said the gesture was aimed at creating public awareness and motivating citizens to contribute toward fuel efficiency and sustainable transportation practices.
