**New Delhi, February 15: **The Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) has intensified its digital outreach efforts, leveraging popular social media and video platforms to provide clearer guidance and faster responses to pension-related concerns. The initiative, highlighted in an update shared by PIB Delhi, is aimed at improving accessibility of information and enhancing the overall “Ease of Life” for pensioners. As part of its multi-platform strategy, Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare is using its official YouTube channel to publish concise, easy-to-understand videos addressing common pension queries. These videos break down complex rules, procedures, and benefits into simple explanations, helping pensioners navigate processes with greater confidence and reduced confusion. Beyond video-based communication, the Department maintains active engagement on Facebook, where it regularly posts updates, awareness material, and scheme-related information. The platform also enables pensioners and their families to raise questions and seek clarifications directly. DoPPW is similarly utilising its official presence on X to circulate key announcements and amplify awareness of pension initiatives. Timely posts and coordinated inter-ministerial tagging are helping expand the reach of important messages to a wider audience. Officials noted that the digital-first approach strengthens transparency, encourages two-way communication, and supports responsive grievance redressal. By integrating social media with public service communication, DoPPW continues to modernise its outreach framework, ensuring that pensioners across the country can access reliable information quickly and conveniently.
