Delhi Traffic Alert: Congestion Expected Near Maharani Bagh, DND–Ashram Route Today

Commuters travelling through South Delhi may experience delays as traffic restrictions and congestion are expected between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM near Maharani Bagh. The advisory comes as the Delhi Jal Board continues repair work on a key stretch of Ring Road connecting major routes across the city.
Traffic movement is expected to remain affected on the DND Flyway–Ashram stretch and C.V. Raman Marg to Ring Road, particularly during peak office hours. Travellers heading towards Ashram, DND Flyway, Mathura Road, and nearby areas are advised to plan their journey in advance and allow extra travel time.
To avoid congestion, authorities have suggested alternate routes including Barapullah Elevated Corridor, C.V. Raman Marg, Mata Mandir Marg, and Mathura Road. Motorists are also advised to follow traffic updates and on-ground directions to minimise inconvenience.
