Bhopal Case Reported Allegations of Minor Girls’ Exploitation and Conversion Under Investigation
Police probe expands as multiple reports highlight alleged organized network
A case from Bhopal involving allegations of exploitation and forced conversion of minor girls has been widely reported across several news platforms, drawing significant public attention. The matter came to light after complaints related to three minor girls from Madhya Pradesh’s Ashoknagar district. According to reports, investigators are examining claims of an alleged network that targeted vulnerable girls, reportedly using job offers through spa and beauty parlour establishments as an entry point. Two women, identified as Amreen and Afreen, have been arrested in connection with the case.
Police sources indicate that the accused allegedly lured victims with employment opportunities and later subjected them to exploitation, coercion, and blackmail. Authorities are also probing possible links extending beyond the state, including connections to Ahmedabad.
In one reported instance, a minor student was allegedly lured through a known contact, assaulted, and later blackmailed. Officials say financial extortion and coercive actions are also being investigated as part of the case.
Law enforcement agencies believe more victims could be involved, though some may not have come forward due to fear or social pressure. Meanwhile, efforts are ongoing to trace additional suspects who are currently absconding.
The case has been widely covered in the media, but officials have urged caution, emphasizing that the investigation is still underway and all claims are being verified. Authorities have assured strict legal action against those found guilty.
