All-Women Crew Operates Bundelkhand Express on International Women’s Day

Today is international women's day celebrated all over the world. Meanwhile a corner of our nation, India took an unprecedented initiative to cheer the ladies of the Jhansi division of North Central Railway (NCR) in Uttar Pradesh.

NCR) in Uttar Pradesh deployed an all-women crew to operate the Bundelkhand Express train. All the male dominated duties were served by women stuff members. This initiatives were taken to promote the gender equality and to show women are also capable of managing important and responsible roles in the railway sector.

Railway official encouraged women to join technical and operational job in the future. Crowd praised all the women crew for their dedication and professionalism. This is the proud momemt for all the members of Jhansi railway division. It is also generated a strong message that women are making themselves successful in every Field.
