New Delhi, November 12, 2025 – Hon’ble Union Minister for Power and Housing and Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, held a high-level meeting with members of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) and prominent business leaders in New Delhi today. The interaction focused on deepening collaboration in the fields of energy, infrastructure, and sustainable urban development.

During the meeting, Shri Khattar noted that the global investor community continues to demonstrate strong confidence in India’s economic potential and policy stability. He appreciated the positive response and proactive engagement from USISPF members and the American business fraternity, emphasizing that India remains a preferred destination for global investment.

Both sides acknowledged the steady growth in India–US energy cooperation, which has evolved over decades of strategic partnership. The discussions underscored a shared commitment to advancing clean energy projects, modernizing urban infrastructure, and promoting innovation-driven investments in India’s power and housing sectors.

Minister Khattar invited US businesses to actively participate in India’s major infrastructure programs, including the Smart Cities Mission, PM Gati Shakti, and renewable energy initiatives under the National Green Hydrogen Mission. He highlighted the government’s continued efforts to simplify regulatory frameworks, enhance ease of doing business, and ensure transparent policy mechanisms for foreign investors.

USISPF representatives expressed strong interest in partnering with India on sustainable technologies, smart grid systems, and housing finance. They lauded India’s rapid strides in renewable energy adoption and its vision for achieving net-zero emissions by 2070.

The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the India–US strategic energy and investment partnership, fostering mutual growth, and contributing to global sustainable development.
