Tensions across West Asia escalated further on Tuesday morning as multiple countries reported missile alerts, interceptions, and drone attacks linked to the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.

According to regional updates, Israel’s defense systems intercepted a missile believed to have been launched from Iran or its allied networks. Israeli air defense units were activated as part of ongoing efforts to counter repeated missile and drone strikes targeting the country since the war escalated.

In the Gulf region, air-raid sirens were sounded in Bahrain, alerting residents to potential incoming threats. The country has previously faced missile and drone strikes targeting U.S. military installations located there, including the headquarters of the U.S. Fifth Fleet.

Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates reported that its air defense systems were intercepting projectiles in its airspace as part of a wider regional attack wave. Iranian missile and drone strikes have previously targeted the UAE during the ongoing conflict, with several projectiles intercepted over major cities.

Iranian military sources claimed the attacks were part of the 37th wave of operations targeting Israeli territory and U.S. military assets across the Middle East. The strikes are part of Iran’s broader retaliatory campaign following earlier U.S.–Israeli attacks on Iranian territory. In Saudi Arabia, air defense units intercepted two drones heading toward the strategically important Shaybah oil field, preventing potential damage to critical energy infrastructure. The Shaybah facility is a key component of Saudi Arabia’s oil production network and has previously been targeted in regional drone attacks.

Security analysts say the latest incidents highlight how the conflict is spreading across the Gulf region, with missile and drone threats affecting multiple countries hosting U.S. military assets or key energy facilities. The escalation has also raised global concerns over disruptions to energy supplies and shipping routes near the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.

With interceptions reported across several countries within hours, the situation in West Asia remains volatile, and regional governments are maintaining high alert as the conflict continues to intensify.
