Al-Falah University, Faridabad, has issued an official statement following recent reports linking two of its doctors to an ongoing investigation by national security agencies. The statement, released by Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Bhupinder Kaur Anand, emphasized that the University has no connection whatsoever with the alleged activities under investigation and condemned the circulation of what it termed as “baseless and misleading stories” against the institution.
Established under the Haryana Legislative Assembly Act 21 of 2014, Al-Falah University is a recognized private university under UGC sections 2(f) & 12(B) and a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The university manages several educational and medical institutions, including Al-Falah Hospital (since 2014) and its medical college, which has been training MBBS students since 2019. Postgraduate courses (MD/MS) were introduced in 2023.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Anand stated, “We are deeply saddened and anguished by the unfortunate developments and extend our thoughts and prayers to all those affected.” She clarified that the University’s laboratories operate strictly under statutory and ethical standards, solely for academic purposes, and denied the presence or use of any prohibited chemicals or materials on campus.
The statement further urged media platforms and individuals to act responsibly and verify facts through official channels before sharing unsubstantiated claims. It reaffirmed the institution’s “unwavering commitment to national unity, peace, and security” and confirmed that the University is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
Prof. Anand also appealed for maintaining peace, normalcy, and academic discipline on campus, ensuring that students’ education continues without disruption.
