Dhurandhar Dominates Chetak Screen Awards 2026 with 14 Wins; Homebound Bags Best Film

New Delhi | April 7, 2026 Bollywood blockbuster Dhurandhar emerged as the undisputed winner at the Chetak Screen Awards 2026, sweeping 14 awards at a star-studded ceremony. The film secured top honours including Best Actor (Male) for Ranveer Singh, Best Director for Aditya Dhar, and Best Supporting Actor (Male) for Akshaye Khanna.

Apart from major acting and direction awards, Dhurandhar also dominated technical categories such as editing, cinematography, sound design, VFX, production design, background score, and action. It shared the Best Costume award with Chhaava.

Meanwhile, Best Film went to Neeraj Ghaywan’s Homebound, a poignant story set during the Covid lockdown. The film also won Best Writing (Story & Screenplay) and Best Supporting Actress for Shalini Vatsa, cementing its critical acclaim.

In the acting categories, Yami Gautam Dhar won Best Actress for her performance in Haq, which also received the Best Film for Gender Sensitivity award.

The OTT space saw Stolen dominate, winning Best OTT Film, Best Actor (Abhishek Banerjee), and Best Script, while Sanya Malhotra took home Best OTT Actress for Mrs.

In music, Saiyaara led the charts, with Shreya Ghoshal and Faheem Abdullah winning playback awards, and the title track bagging Best Song. Debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda were recognised as breakthrough performers.

A special highlight of the evening was the posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award presented to veteran actor Dharmendra, received emotionally by his son Bobby Deol.

The ceremony, hosted by Alia Bhatt, Sunil Grover, Zakir Khan, and Saurabh Dwivedi, marked the return of the prestigious awards after seven years and celebrated both commercial blockbusters and meaningful cinema.
