However, CSK fought back quickly with Mukesh Choudhary picking up two wickets in consecutive deliveries.

The momentum shifted again when Heinrich Klaasen anchored the innings with a composed 59 off 39 balls, guiding SRH to a solid 194/8. For CSK, Jamie Overton (3/37) and Anshul Kamboj (3/22) impressed with the ball, especially in the death overs.

Eshan Malinga emerged as the match-winner with figures of 3/29, earning the Player of the Match award for his crucial breakthroughs.
