Suvendu Adhikari Targets TMC Over Law and Order Ahead of Bengal Polls
BJP leader claims “jungle raj” will end in West Bengal, echoes PM Modi’s remarks
Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly and BJP candidate from Bhabanipur and Nandigram, Suvendu Adhikari, has raised serious concerns over the state’s law and order situation.
Adhikari alleged that the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) may attempt to create disturbances in the state. He asserted that the party is “on its way out” and expressed confidence in a political shift in West Bengal.
Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s earlier statements, Adhikari said that the current situation of “jungle raj” in the state would come to an end. He compared it to changes seen in states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, claiming a similar transformation is expected in West Bengal.
The remarks come amid rising political tensions as the state gears up for upcoming elections, with both BJP and TMC intensifying their campaigns.
