The protesters are pressing for three key demands: the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the repeal of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, and the scrapping of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

AISA stated that the students have joined Wangchuk's protest in complete solidarity and pledged to continue their agitation until their demands are addressed.
