New Delhi: A social media post claiming that members of the Hindu Raksha Dal (HRD) wrote “There is no road for Muslims” on a national highway in Ghaziabad sparked controversy online. However, the Ghaziabad Police have denied that any such incident took place within their jurisdiction.
In an official clarification, the Police Commissionerate of Ghaziabad stated that the viral post is misleading and affects communal harmony. “No such incident has occurred within the limits of the Ghaziabad Police Commissionerate. The post is misleading and aimed at disturbing religious harmony. People are requested not to share unverified content on social media. Spreading rumors may invite legal action,” police said.
Earlier, reports circulating on social media alleged that HRD members had written the message on a public roadway, prompting reactions from users online. However, no official confirmation supporting the claim has been issued.
